Usual Stira design for extra strength

  • Unique inner frame
  • Unique wraparound hinges making the ladder solid under foot
  • Extra strong outer frame
  • 98mm recessed steps with dado joints, glued and nailed
  • High density timber sourced from renewable forests

Note: When trimming out /preparing the opening, add an extra +10mm to the length and width of the Stira system you order.

Independently tested and certified to load capacity 150kg (inhouse tested to 190kg)

Import Delivery Information: In cases of narrow roads approach, overhanging trees, Cul de Sacs, housing estates, limited parking, no safe vehicle turning area, or anything that impedes large vehicle access, or gravel/chippings surfaces or kerbs, delivery restrictions will apply. * Independently tested and certified by Building Envelope Technologies Ltd. (BET) up to 600 Pa (pascals) pressure, achieving the highest classification of Class 4 to BS EN 1026: 2016 – Windows and doors – Air permeability – Test method.

** Independently tested and calculated by Building Envelope Technologies Ltd. (BET) to achieving a u-value of 0.16 W/m2K in a typical ceiling.

When the Stira Cosy+ loft ladder system is fitted to a typical ceiling with 300mm mineral wool insulation a u-value of 0.16 W/m2K can be achieved. Building Regulation TGD Part L 2022 for dwellings states the maximum elemental u-value for a ceiling is 0.16 W/m2K. Fitting the Stira Cosy+ loft ladder system to the appropriate roof build-up will align with Part L of the building regulations and assist a dwelling in achieving an A rating.

Stira Operational Update post Storm Éowyn
